A typical day at the office looks like: coding degree requirements into Degree Works - our degree audit system, answering staff/faculty/student questions about policies/procedures/systems that our office implements, troubleshooting system issues or coming up with ideas for system enhancements, training new staff on MavLINK and Degree Works, working on course changes in the Course Catalog Management System (CCMS), and trying to bring humor to everyday situations.
My favorite part of UNO is: the beautiful campus. I like that we have the greenspace known as the "Pep Bowl" outside of our office because it's such a nice feature to find on a college campus. I like to walk the campus during the spring, summer, and fall but you won't find me outside in the winter.
If I went back to college now I would be sure to: take more technology classes of all kinds because I'm much more interested in technology now than when I attended college! (Did they even have computers back then?) I would also be sure to fit in a study abroad trip because I think that's such a valuable experience for students to get out and see the world.
Our Campus. Otherwise Known as Omaha.
