About Jonathan

Jonathan, a first-generation, low-income student, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 2014 with a BS in Social Work and Latino/ Latin American Studies with a minor in Spanish. He began working in higher education in 2015 at Tulsa Community College (TCC), where he held a number of roles. Jonathan relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in 2021. Since then, he has transitioned to the TRIO SSS Project Achieve and is a TRIO SSS Project Achieve Specialist. Jonathan has a strong desire to mentor students and assists them in breaking down barriers.

Jonathan is aware of the importance of TRIO SSS Project Achieve and its impact on the students' lives. As a former participant of TRIO SSS Project Achieve, he is eager to join the team and carry on the services that TRIO SSS Project Achieve offers to the students.
