About Cristina

Cristina was a first-generation student who received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1998 and her graduate degree in Public Administration from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. Cristina began her career at UNO in 2015 and recently transitioned to oversee the Project Achieve (Trio) Program. Cristina has a Professional Certification in Trauma and Resilience, Level 1 and 2 from Florida State University. She is also a certified Health and Wellness Coach through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Cristina is passionate about education and helping students.

Cristina’s view on Trio Project Achieve

Cristina believes in Trio Project Achieve and the impact it can have in the lives of students. She is excited to be a part of it and looks forward to being a part of this amazing program.
