What is the UNO Care Team?

The UNO Care Team (formerly BRT) serves students through a network of collaborative campus resources in prevention, early intervention, and support. We understand our students have unique stories, experiences, and skills and can experience distress and/or challenging times. The Care Team’s goal is to keep everyone in the campus community safe and healthy, address concerns, connect students with appropriate resources, and collaborate to develop solutions. To learn more about the UNO Care Team’s support and services, visit this webpage.

How can I refer a student to the UNO Care Team?

If you are worried about a student, please submit a report here or contact 402.554.CARE (2273) to consult with a UNO Care Team member. Please note: the UNO Care Team is not an emergency response team. If you believe a student is experiencing an emergency, please call 402.554.2911 (on-campus) or 911 (off-campus) and complete a report after you have contacted emergency responders.
