2025-26 Annual Report

UNO's Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) has much to celebrate from 2025-26.

CFE is proud to facilitate engaging, faculty-centered programming that supports UNO's mission. Signature CFE programs such as New Faculty Onboarding, writing retreats, Communities of Practice, and TANDEM mentoring continued to be highlights this past year.

Notable 2025-26 Highlight: Engagement in Communities of Practice increased dramatically - participation was up 62% from 2024-25!

Additionally, CFE programs continued to create powerful partnerships across campus. In the annual report, CFE shines a spotlight on some recent collaborations that brought faculty together for meaningful professional development opportunities.

CFE has several exciting initiatives on the horizon for 2026-27. For example, Coaching Collaborative, which provides free professional coaching to full-time faculty and staff, will expand significantly, adding instructional coaching and leadership coaching to its offerings.
