It's back ... in black!

WEAR BLACK, GIVE BACK is a 24-hour day of giving to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to raise money for scholarships, colleges and programs, student groups and activities, wellness, and much more! The day starts at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 13, and lasts through noon on Thursday, Oct. 14.

This year, UNO is looking for 1,500 generous donors to make a gift of $5 or more during Wear Black, Give Back. It's an ambitious goal, but if anyone can do it, it's you, Mavericks! Colleges, student groups and causes at UNO have their own challenges and goals you can help achieve. With so many important areas to support at UNO, we hope you will find and donate to the cause that means the most to you.

Additionally, every donor of $60 or more will receive a bonus UNO scarf!

WEAR BLACK: On Oct. 13, wear your UNO apparel with pride, and tell your friends, family and colleagues to do so as well! Share your spirit on social media with the hashtag #WearBlackGiveBack.

GIVE BACK: Make a gift of $5 or more during this 24-hour period and help reach the 1,500-donor goal!
