  4. Core Consultants

In Phase 3, we have added a Core Consultant, who is an eminent expert, for each Core Director. These consultants will provide 1) a constructive outside perspective, 2) expert advice that can strengthen our efforts on sustainability and transition to independence, and 3) enhance the scientific networking of our Core Directors. The Core Consultant will meet with the Core Director quarterly and advise on data reporting, grant opportunities, continued development of policies and procedures, user training, as well as review the progress of the core and set short and intermediate-term goals.
