UNO Art Gallery

The UNO Art Gallery is located in the Weber Fine Arts Building and offers opportunities for both students and visiting artists to exhibit their work. This professional exhibition space consists of two large galleries (1,500 square feet) and a hexagon gallery (675 square feet). Admission is free unless otherwise stated.

The UNO Art Gallery also hosts lectures from visiting artists discussing their work.

Samuel Bak Museum and Academic Learning Center

The Samuel Bak Academic Learning Center and Museum, set to open soon on the UNO campus, will be a collaborative organization that highlights human rights, genocide, the Holocaust, and other themes. In total, 512 pieces by Samuel Bak have been donated to UNO. The opening date is still being determined.

Ask your faculty and/or advisors about possible internship opportunities.

Samuel Bak, whose work was featured in the UNO Art Gallery in 2019, is a Lithuanian-American painter, writer, and Holocaust survivor. He has lived in the United States since 1993.


Willson Memorial Lecture Series

The Willson Memorial Lecture Series brings visiting artists tied to class curriculum or current gallery exhibitions to UNO. These visiting artists will give artists talks and lectures about their work and connect it to students’ education. The Willson Memorial Lecture Series is funded by Friends of Art.
