Tyler Radke, systems administrator, Dean’s Office, Arts & Sciences Hall, Allwine Hall, and Durham Science Center, recently was named UNO’s Employee of the Month for February.

The Celebration Committee surprised Tyler with the news on Monday, February 6, 2017.

Tyler was nominated by his peers for his adaptability, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of the job.

They said, “Tyler is an exceptional asset to the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is personable, accessible, diligent, thoroughly skilled, and highly professional. Tyler has an uncanny ability to describe technical computer terms in a way that a person without a degree in IT can understand."

They continued, “He is an outstanding problem solver and communicator. Tyler takes the time to troubleshoot, answer questions, and walk you through procedures step by step. It is a pleasure to run into him in the hall. He has a ‘can do’ attitude and is a wonderful person to work with.”

As Employee of the Month, Tyler will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space. Please contact Human Resources at 402.554.2321 for additional information.

About UNO's Employee of the Month Program

Human Resources administers the program in conjunction with the Office of the Chancellor and Staff Advisory Council. They welcome nominations from faculty, staff, students, vendors, and visitors. Nominate someone today.

THANK YOU, TYLER!
