Undergraduate Admissions

If you’re ready to start your college career with a liberal arts degree, visit UNO Admissions where you can:

Once you’ve decided to become a Maverick, start your online application and choose a College of Arts and Sciences major when you create your account. Don’t forget to have all of your required materials ready before you start the process.

Deadlines for Admission to UNO

All official documents needed to complete your undergraduate application for admission to UNO must be received by the following deadlines:

  • Fall semester: August 23
  • Priority deadline for scholarship consideration for the fall semester: February 1
  • Spring semester: January 24
  • Summer semester: July 1

Graduate Admissions

The College of Arts and Sciences offers many Master, Ph.D and Certificate level graduate programs. Students must complete a Graduate Application form and file it with the UNO Office of Graduate Studies.

Students who are admitted to graduate programs at other University of Nebraska campuses must complete an intercampus registration form to receive credit for any graduate level courses taken at UNO.

Transfer Students

Students interested in transferring to the College of Arts and Sciences can apply online through the UNO Office of Admissions page.
