Intern in Omaha with Humanities in Action: The Maverick Internship Program

This credit-bearing humanities internship offers hands-on, resume-building experience through placements with a variety of community partners. Students work with a mentor, contribute to real projects, and apply classroom learning while developing transferable skills such as critical thinking, communication, cultural awareness, ethical reasoning, and teamwork in professional settings.

Must participate in Humanities Internship Symposium and the end-of-semester showcase.

Must enroll in one of the following courses concurrently: ART 4530, ENGL 4800, HIST 4920, HUMN 4900, LLS 4900, MEDH 4990, RELI 4000, SPAN 4800, WLL 4800
