SPRING VOLUNTEER FAIR
On Tuesday, February 24th between 9AM-1PM, there will be a Spring Volunteer Fair in CEC room 201. This is your opportunity to meet local non-profits, discover volunteer opportunities, and make a difference.
At UNO there are tons of opportunities for students to become involved in service projects and programs that create positive social change in our community. Student-directed service and volunteer transformations are happening every day through The Collaborative. Come develop your skills by participating in intentional programs that support the community.
Presidential Award for Economic Opportunity
UNO has been awarded the 2014 Presidential Award for the Economic Opportunity category.
This award, presented by President Barack Obama, recognizesinstitutions with service programs that build economic independence,increase family stability, and create more sustainable and resilientcommunities.
Institutions applying in this category will be engaged in service thatimproves the financial well-being and security of economicallydisadvantaged individuals.
