Biography

Amber Purdy Vogel serves as the Assistant Director, Post-Award in the Office of Sponsored Programs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She began her grants accounting career in 2010 and has extensive experience managing sponsored projects funded by federal, state, and private sponsors.

Amber oversees the University's post-award operations and maintains a limited portfolio of complex sponsored projects. She oversees institutional financial reporting, audit management, compliance, and the resolution of complex post-award issues while serving as a resource for faculty and staff on post-award financial management.

Amber works closely with the Director of Sponsored Programs to provide strategic leadership for post-award operations, guide policy and operational improvements, and advance initiatives that support the University's sponsored programs.
