To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, on- and off-campus university-sponsored events that involve more than 20 people, or use more than one-third of the venue’s capacity, are postponed or canceled effective immediately through the end of the Spring 2020 semester.

PTAC Conference-Event Postponed

The University of Nebraska at Omaha has been actively monitoring the rapidly evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and providing regular updates to the UNO community as the situation changes. The health and safety of our community continues to be our primary concern in this fluid situation. At this time, a majority of campus-sponsored events are canceled or postponed through the end of the Spring 2020 semester. Hosted by Nebraska PTAC, Meet the Buyers conference provides an opportunity for Nebraska businesses to meet with government agencies to pitch their products or services. Attendees can expect to:

  • Meet face-to-face with federal buyers and prime contractors to learn about their upcoming projects and business opportunities.
  • Network with buyers, primes and potential partners.
  • Find out whether your products, services and qualifications are of interest to a federal agency or prime.
  • Learn how to increase business sales through government contracting and how to improve the success of your proposals.
  • Learn about free consulting and market research services that will help you sell to the government.
