Renee Held to Retire After 24 Years With NBDC

After helping 2,500 people all across the midwest, Renee will retire in April 2019.

Renee Held has worked for the Nebraska Business Development Center for 24 years. She began her time at UNO, working as part of the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership where she consulted with and trained Nebraska’s small to medium sized manufacturers.

Most recently, Renee has been a member of NBDC’s Professional and Organizational Development as an Account Representative and Lean facilitator. She has helped over 2,500 people all across Nebraska, and into Iowa, North Dakota, Kansas and Oregon. The work was primarily been in manufacturing and the business world to grow the organizations to become more productive and efficient and to grow the economy of Nebraska. Renee will retire April 5, 2019.

"Renee has been the face of NBDC's training and consulting to a large array of manufacturers in Nebraska for almost 25 years. Many of the manufacturers have grown more efficiently because of her work. Her commitment to her teammates and to Nebraska businesses has been laudable. She will be missed. NBDC has taken steps to continue its work with Nebraska manufacturers," said Harold Sargus, Manager, Professional and Organizational Development with NBDC.

"Over the past 24 + years, I have been at NBDC, there have been many changes and relationships made, said Renee Held. "I have traveled with my work all across Nebraska and I'm amazed at all the new and interesting people and companies that exist in our fine state! Thank you again for the memories!"
