Minor in Management Information Systems

  4. Minor in Management Information Systems

A minor in management information systems may be obtained by completing ISQA 3310, ISQA 3910, and one of the following: ISQA 4110, or ISQA 3420, or ISQA 3900, plus six hours of upper-division ISQA courses in management information systems.

A grade of "C-" or better is required in each course applied toward this minor in management information systems.

Required Courses

  • ISQA 3310 - Managing the Database Environment
    Prerequisites: CIST 1100, CIST 2100, or BSAD 3100
  • ISQA 3910 - Project Management
    Prerequisites: CIST 2100 or BSAD 3100
  • And, choose one of the following:
    • ISQA 4110 - Information Systems Analysis
      Prerequisites: CIST 2100 or BSAD 3100, ISQA 3310, and ISQA 3910.
    • ISQA 3420 - Managing in a Digital World
    • ISQA 3900 - Web App Development

Note: These courses also count towards the major in Management Information Systems.

Note: Students must meet all prerequisite requirements.
