Sports Management

Overview

Offered in collaboration with the Real Madrid Graduate School – Universidad Europea (EURM UE), the Sports Management concentration adds a distinctive dimension to the UNO MBA.

This 9-credit hour concentration makes UNO the only AACSB-accredited MBA program in Nebraska to offer a focus in this growing field, placing it among a select group of institutions nationwide.

Students gain exposure to key areas such as sports finance, marketing, law, event planning, facility operations, and leadership. The program is especially relevant in Omaha, a city with a strong sports presence; home to the NCAA Men’s College World Series, past NCAA tournament games, Olympic trials, and several professional teams and organizations.

Program Structure

In addition to the 24-credit-hour MBA core curriculum, the Sports Management Concentration requires completion of at least nine (9) credit hours from the EURM UE online courses listed below.

Students enroll in and pay for these courses through EURM UE and receive UNO transfer credit based on their EURM UE transcript. Contact the UNO MBA Advisor for more details.
