*The Omaha Urban Rate (OUR) applies for students from Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

International students on a visa are not eligible for OUR Tuition rates.

UPF* $557.48 flat

*University Programs and Facilities (UPF) Fees

  • All students enrolled in any on-campus (001) or partially online (860) sections will be assessed the UPF fee. Students enrolled in ONLY remote (820), online (850) and/or hybrid remote (870) sections will be assessed 50% of the UPF fee. The online UPF fee only applies to non-resident students living in the state of Nebraska and resident students.

    UPF fees are divided into two separate funds: Fund A and Fund B student fees.

    Fund A

    The Fund A UPF fee is established and allocated by the elected Student Government subject to the approval of the chancellor in accordance with Board of Regents policy.

    The Fund A portion ($26.48 of the full rate or $13.24 of the half rate) of the UPF fee is refundable during the first 30 days of each term. The student must complete the Fund A refund form and return it to the Cashiering/Student Accounts Office in person or by email at unocsa@unomaha.edu.

    The refund will be applied to the student account balance first or refunded to the student. Students requesting a Fund A refund will no longer be entitled to the student activities supported by the Fund A student fees listed below:

    • Student Government (including Student Legal Services)
    • Maverick Productions
    • The Gateway Newspaper

    Fund B

    The Fund B UPF fee is established by the recommendation of the campus chancellor and the president, and with approval of the board in accordance with Board of Regents policy.

    Fund B monies may be allocated for support of:

    • University contracts requiring payment in whole or in part from dedicated student fees,
    • Student unions and centers,
    • Intercollegiate athletic programs,
    • Student health services, student recreational programs,
    • International student services,
    • Student transit services, and
    • Facilities related to any of the foregoing

    Students requesting a Fund B refund must be currently living outside of the 50-mile radius of the University of Nebraska at Omaha and 100% online. Once approved, students will no longer be entitled to the student services and activities supported by the Fund A and Fund B listed above.
