Explore Opportunities with New and Revitalized CAS Student Orgs

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) awarded mini grants in early 2023 to CAS faculty who are advisors to existing or emerging clubs and organizations to help fund new activities and support growth efforts.

OLLAS Announces New Cohort of Next Generation Leadership Scholars

October 13, 2023

Thanks to additional support from the Mammel Family Foundation, this academic year (2023 – 2024), OLLAS has been able to award this scholarship to 19 UNO students, the biggest cohort since the inception of the Next Generation Leadership Scholarship.

NATO Allied Command Transformation Holds NATO Model Event at UNO

October 10, 2023

On Oct. 6, 2023, NATO Allied Command Transformation facilitated a NATO Model Event, hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Participants from the university each represented a NATO member nation during a simulated North Atlantic Council session regarding challenges in the High North, a pertinent and growing topic within geopolitics.
