Arts & Sciences Hall – On Friday April 21st, 2017, the College of Arts & Sciences held its annual Recognition Reception to honor the accomplishments of our faculty.

Dean David Boocker praised the faculty for their contributions to the college and gave them credit for our students' success. "Over one thousand of our students made the Dean's List last fall. I'm honored to have my title attached to the list, but our students are so successful not because of me, but because of our dedicated faculty."

This year, Dr. Roni Reiter-Palmon of Psychology received the NU system-wide award for Outstanding Research or Creative Activity (click here for details) and Dr. Tammie Kennedy of English was honored with the UNO Excellence in Teaching Award as well as the College of Arts & Sciences Alumni Outstanding Teacher Award.
