The Face of War Podcast

This podcast series, created in 2022 by Barbara Robins, Ph.D., an associate professor of English, and graduate student Jessie Stewart, focuses on experiences of war and how it shapes people’s lives.

About The Face of War Podcast

This podcast series reflects how war impacts all of us by listening to the different perspectives of those that have lived it, understanding how the media shapes our views of war, understanding our own feelings, and learning life skills for managing stress, fear, and anxiety. Our goal is to educate, remind you that you aren’t alone, and give you tools to navigate living and watching war.

The Face of War Podcast Panel Presentation and Q&A

This event was a panel presentation and discussion comprised of UNO faculty and students behind the podcast, The Face of War. During this event, the members will address the various issues and perspectives of military veterans, active military, and their families, particularly related to their inclusion at UNO.
