Student Testimonials

“As a Chinese student studying English as a second language, the Language Lab has helped me a lot in the process of learning English. In the beginning, I just finished my English course papers in the language laboratory. But as I live and study in Omaha, I find that my English language level is still far from my goal. But the Language Lab provided me with a good platform to exercise my English ability, which gave me confidence in my English ability to complete my subsequent studies.” – Zhongyue Lin

“Language Lab is a good place to help students to practice their English skills. Due to Covid-19, students take the online class to replace the traditional class. However, through the video and zoom, maybe we will have some questions about the chapter, and the Language Lab's teacher can help us read the paper together to let us have a further understanding of this chapter. Second, for the international student, we lost the channel to talk with the teacher in English. If we don't speak English for a long time, our English skills will degenerate. If we always talk with the Language Lab's teacher, it will greatly help us.” –Ying Huang
