Online Orientation is open for Spring 2027 admits!
This is your first step towards enrollment! Once you register for the course in MavLINK (under the "admissions" tab), you'll have access in Canvas within 2 business days. Complete the course before meeting with an academic advisor to select your classes.
Follow these three steps.
Sign up for Online Orientation via your MavLINK account
- Go to the Admissions tab on the left side and select Undergrad Orientation Signup
- Review your personal information and make updates if needed
Access Online Orientation in Canvas
- Once you sign up, it will take 24-48 hours for access to be available
- Log in to Canvas using your university login
- For help logging in, visit the NU ITS Support webpage
- Find the Online Orientation course on your Canvas dashboard
- Click into the course and follow the instructions to complete Online Orientation
- Contact an advisor from your college to schedule an enrollment appointment
Enrollment
- Meet with your advisor in person or virtually to select your courses
- Complete Online Orientation before your session to make sure you are prepared
Immunizations
All international or homeschooled students born after 1956 are required to submit an official copy of their immunization records showing two measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccinations or a positive rubeola titer.
To submit an official copy of these records, you must upload them through the immunization portal on MavLINK under Profile.
