If you find yourself struggling with food insecurity or homelessness, UNO has resources to support you. The Maverick Food Pantry contributes to our culture of caring by providing food to those in immediate need, and connecting them with resources in the greater Omaha area for long-term support. You can confidentially request a food package on Engage and pick up the package in 130 CEC.

Hardship and Resiliency Support 

UNO offers limited funds to help students facing unexpected financial hardship or crisis stay on track toward their goals. Through the support of generous donors, DASH provides a safe, understanding space where students can find encouragement, connect to resources, and continue their education with confidence.

Career Closet 

UNO students are invited to shop for FREE new and gently used professional clothing items for interviews, internships, career fairs, jobs and more. The Career Closet offers a variety of sizes and styles to help you dress for success.

Office of Student Legal Services 

From everyday questions to serious concerns, The Office of Student Legal Services offers free, confidential legal advice and representation for currently enrolled UNO students.

TRIO Project Achieve 

Project Achieve empowers students to overcome barriers, build skills, and achieve success. With personalized support and a caring community, we help first-generation, income-eligible, and disabled students thrive throughout their college journey and complete their degree.
