For multimedia projects on pre-cut flat stock media up to 11x17 in size, the CPL offers inkjet printing on our Epson ET-7750 desktop printer.

Stylized logo and text representation of a desktop inkjet printer.

This service is intended for art, photography, and prototype grade projects at limited quantities on high-quality CPL-provided media. Available only for current UNO students, staff, and faculty.

You're in the right place if...

  • Your graphic design project needs to be printed on flat cardstock.
  • You have a few photos that would look best on glossy paper.

All projects are subject to limitations and material availability. Request processing will not start for at least 1 hour from request receipt and will available for pickup within 1 business day of receipt of correct file.

For projects requiring large quantities or help setting up your file for printing, contact our team by email for assistance.

Prints made for our Epson ET 7750 printer can be no larger than 11" wide, and generally max out at a 19" feed through length, but max length can vary with approved media.

Cost to print on the inkjet is determined by size of paper used, kind of paper used, and overall ink coverage.

How Do I Prepare a File for Inkjet Printing?

  1. Make sure your final file is in CMYK mode. This will be a better representation of how your colors will print.
  2. Set your DPI (dots per inch) to at least 300. This will keep your image from appearing too blurry or pixilated.
  3. Set your image to the exact size of the media you plan on printing to, with 1/2" margins to avoid cutoff or image skew.
  4. Add crop marks if needed to alleviate trimming challenges.
  5. Save your file in either TIFF or PDF (high resolution format). If saving from a PowerPoint slide, always save as PDF. (JPG, PNG, BMP, and TGA files are allowable but may see color or quality alterations versus file presentation on digital devices.)

Inkjet printing can be accomplished exclusively by web-order request. Walk-up printing is not guaranteed to be available and is based on staff availability and request queue across all current services.

The CPL keeps a limited stock of media on hand for use by patrons. We currently offer:

  • 11x17 single-sided matte presentation, white
  • 11x17 double-sided cardstock, white
