Amy Schindler, Director of Archives & Special Collections, joined the University of Nebraska at Omaha Criss Library in January 2014. She has a B.A. in History with a Certificate in Asian American Studies from the University of Wisconsin--Madison and a M.L.I.S. and M.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee. Schindler has served in various elected and appointed positions with the Society of American Archivists (SAA), Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC), and Midwest Archives Conference (MAC). She has presented at SAA, MARAC, MAC, American Association for History and Computing, Academic Library Advancement & Development Network, Joint Conference of Librarians of Color, and other conferences on outreach, donor relations, documentation strategy, social media, and related topics.
