Minor in Aviation
Degrees that a minor in aviation could enhance include:
- Computer Science (BS)
- Criminal Justice (BS)
- Emergency Management (BS)
- International Studies (BA)
- Business Administration (BSBA)
- General Administration (BGS)
- Engineering (BS)
- Teacher Education (BS)
A minor in aviation requires a minimum of 18 credit hours in aviation, including at least nine hours of upper-division (3000-4000 level) courses. Students must achieve a C– or better in each course. Students will be required to take AVN 1000 Introduction to Aviaiton and AVN 1040 History of Aviation
For the minor to appear on the student’s transcript, the student must complete the Change of Academic Program Form that can be obtained in the Aviation Institute advisor’s office.
