Aviation Institute Career Conference

The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Aviation Institute is proud to launch its first-ever Aviation Career Conference on Thursday, September 25, 2025 — a dynamic, full-day event tailored specifically for college-aged aviation students who are ready to take the next step toward their professional future.

This new annual conference builds upon the success of previous career fairs but takes things a step further. Rather than a simple networking event, the Career Conference is designed to be an immersive experience, offering students practical tools, professional insights, and face-to-face time with industry leaders.

Attendees will benefit from two dedicated seminar sessions, each focused on topics critical to aspiring pilots, aviation managers, and aerospace professionals. Whether it's learning how to stand out in airline interviews, understanding the realities of regional and corporate flying, or hearing firsthand from recent graduates and recruiters — these sessions are meant to inform and inspire. In addition to the seminars, students can explore an expo hall filled with airline representatives, aviation companies, and industry partners. This is your chance to make real-world connections, hand out your resume, and ask the questions that matter most. To support students in presenting their best selves, the event will include resume-building stations and quick-touch mentoring opportunities.
