The Bachelor of Science in Aviation degree, with a concentration in Professional Flight, caters to individuals aspiring to pursue careers as professional pilots. It provides a structured curriculum designed to help students achieve:

Private Pilot Certificate: This foundational training phase introduces students to essential flying skills and knowledge, with a minimum requirement of 35 flight hours. It focuses on building basic piloting abilities, including flight maneuvers, navigation, and safety protocols, laying the groundwork for more advanced certifications and career development in aviation.

Instrument Rating: Training focuses on flying solely by instruments in various weather conditions. A minimum of 35 additional flight hours is required, preparing pilots for more complex flying and advancing their qualifications.

Commercial Pilot Certificate: Builds advanced flying skills, preparing students for a career as a professional pilot. A minimum of 190 total flight hours is required, focusing on complex flight maneuvers, navigation, and operational procedures. It enables pilots to get paid for their services and work in various aviation sectors.

Certified Flight Instructor: Prepares pilots to teach others by developing their instructional and communication skills. The CFI certificate allows pilots to instruct and accumulate flight hours for further certifications

Multi-Engine Rating: Focuses on mastering the skills required to operate aircraft with multiple engines, enhancing safety and performance. It expands career opportunities by qualifying pilots for a wider range of aircraft and commercial flying roles.

This program provides students with the essential skills and knowledge to fly safely while fostering professionalism, critical decision-making, and a thorough understanding of aviation’s various facets, preparing them for a successful career in the aviation industry.
