Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic

The UNO Aviation Institute Golf Classic began in 1996 as a way to raise funds for student scholarships. In 2013, the Aviation Institute partnered with Jet Linx Aviation to honor the memory of Robb Azer, a UNO student who had just accepted a position with Jet Linx before his life was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident. This partnership gave birth to the Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic.

Since its inception, the tournament has raised over $585,000 — a testament to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters. The Golf Classic has endowed three scholarships, continues to fund three additional scholarships each year, and provides resources for other student opportunities that help prepare the next generation of aviation professionals.

Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic 2025

The 2025 Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic, held on September 29 at Oak Hill Country Club, was an incredible day from start to finish! We were blessed with beautiful weather, a fantastic group of golfers, and an atmosphere full of energy and camaraderie. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and partners, we raised an outstanding amount to support aviation students and their educational journeys.

Events like this make a lasting impact — helping provide scholarships, hands-on learning opportunities, and resources for the next generation of aviation professionals. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made the day such a success and can’t wait to see you on the course again next year!
