Computer Science High School Quiz Bowl

The University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Computer Science will celebrate National Computer Science Education Week in December. Please join us for our virtual Quiz Bowl!

This is a "Trivia Night" style trivia game, allowing teams to demonstrate their knowledge in computer science and computing technology. All high schools in Nebraska and Iowa are welcome! You don't need to have a Computer Science class to enter. All participants will receive a swag bag!

Early registration is recommended, we can accept up to 30 teams on a first-come-first-served basis. Each team should comprise of three students plus a sponsoring teacher, and two teams are allowed for each school. Sponsoring teachers must attend the virtual event for teams to compete.

Extended Registration Deadline: Tuesday, 8 December 2020 at 6pm

The following information is required for team registration:

  1. High School Name
  2. Sponsor (teacher name, contact information – email, phone number, etc.)
  3. Team Name
  4. Team Members (name, year in school)

Due to COVID-19, this event will be virtual.
