- Provide real time, interactive access to Nebraska-focused public health data via an information portal
- Simplify data gathering and distribution from multiple sources
- Identify appropriate tools, including data formats, and visualization and reporting tools, to maximize the flexibility and utility of the information portal
- Through data mining techniques, enable identification of correlations otherwise not available
Curriculum & Education
- Development of Public Health Informatics course
- Needs analysis, cataloging existing data sources, identifying gaps therein, and developing proposals to address those gaps
