The College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS) proudly serves as home to nationally ranked programs and award-winning faculty recognized as experts in their fields. CPACS was created in 1973 to ensure the university was responsive to the critical social needs of our community and state.
Our mission includes offering the highest caliber educational programs to prepare students for leadership in public service and helping the community solve important problems.
Approximately 3,000 students each year are enrolled in CPACS to pursue undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies in any of our academic and outreach programs. These students learn the skills and develop the relationships necessary to address the social issues we face on a local and national level.
