CEHHS Student Technology Requirements

The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS) is home to the following programs.

We recommend the following specifications for all CEHHS students, staff, and faculty:

Operating System Windows 11 or macOS 26 Tahoe Windows 11 or macOS 26 Tahoe
Memory (RAM) 16 GB 32 GB
Processor Intel Core i5, Apple M1, or equivalent Intel Core i7, Apple M2, or higher
Hard Drive 256 GB 500 GB or higher
Graphics Card Integrated Graphics Any dedicated graphics card


University Provided Software:

Antivirus Cortex XDR
Adobe Access to Adobe Creative Cloud products can be requested here.
Microsoft Office ITS offers Microsoft 365 for free, for students, faculty and staff. As part of the Microsoft 365 agreement, current faculty, staff, and students can download and install the latest version of Office apps on five different devices at school and/or at home. Access is tied to your @nebraska.edu email address. To install Microsoft Office, click here.
MATLAB Provided for students, staff, and faculty. Access is tied to your @unomaha.edu email address. To install MATLAB, click here.
SPSS Provided for students, staff, and faculty. Please contact your college IT support at nusupport@nebraska.edu
MaxQDA Provided for students, staff, and faculty. Please contact your college IT support at nusupport@nebraska.edu
