The College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences is dedicated to community engagement.

Collaboration between CEHHS faculty, staff and students and our local, regional, national and global communities for the exchange of knowledge and resources is a pillar of our mission. We are fully committed to creating value through mutually beneficial partnerships where information and expertise is shared and applied for the common good.

College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences Clinics

The Department of Counseling and Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders provide clinic opportunities to serve the needs of our community.

Community Counseling Clinic

The Community Counseling Clinic at UNO offers individual and group counseling for adolescents, adults, and couples, as well as UNO students. The clinic is staffed by advanced graduate students and supervised by licensed faculty.

The clinic is located on the UNO Dodge Street Campus in Roskens Hall. Email unocounclinic@nebraska.edu for information or make an appointment online.

Clinic Hours
  • Monday though Thursday from 11 A.M. - 7 P.M. with the last session starting at 6 P.M.
  • Friday from 11 A.M. - 4 P.M. with the last session starting at 3 P.M.

Speech-Language Clinic

UNO's Speech-Language Clinic fulfills a dual mission of providing graduate students in the Speech-Language Pathology Program with valuable practicum experiences, as well as providing the community with the opportunity to receive assessments and/or intervention for communication disorders and dialectal differences.

Student clinicians work with clients of all ages under the direction of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists. The clinic delivers services primarily in the on-campus clinic, but also works with area schools and agencies to provide screening and consultative speech, language, and hearing services. The clinic is coordinated by the Speech-Language Pathology Program within the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders.
