Psychology Concentration

Concentrations for the Psychology undergraduate degree

Psychology majors may declare an OPTIONAL concentration in one of the seven areas; only one concentration is allowed. Each concentration requires a minimum of 12 credit hours, as outlined below. Contact your academic advisor for details on declaring a concentration.

APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS (12 credit hours)
Required:
PSYC 4570 Behavior Analysis and Intervention
PSYC 4020 Learning
Two of the following:
PSYC 3150 Small-n Research Methods
PSYC 4030 Conceptual Analysis of Behavior
PSYC 4350 Basic/Experimental Behavior Analysis
PSYC 4414 Laboratory in Applied Behavior Analysis
PHIL 4810 Practice and Ethics in Behavior Analysis

COGNITIVE SCIENCE (12 credit hours)
Required - choose one:
PSYC 4070 Cognitive Psychology
PSYC 4090 Cognitive Neuroscience
