Arts and Sciences Hall with the words, Wear Black, Give Back written over it.

Arts and Sciences Hall, 2025.

Wear Black, Give Back kicks off on Oct. 8 at noon — and the College of Arts and Sciences wants you to join in on the fun!

Want to know how? We’ve got a few ideas:

  1. Wear black!

    • It’s simple enough – put on your school colors (or if you have it, school merch) and show the world why you’re proud to be a Maverick.

  2. Be a champion for CAS!

    • Get the word out about Wear Black, Give Back. Whether you prefer posting on social media or sharing with friends and coworkers in real life, let them know about the CAS donation matches and causes.
  3. Share your CAS story!

    • Talk about the impact of your CAS education on social media, or amongst your community.
  4. Keep up with us on social media!

    • We’ll be posting special Wear Black, Give Back content all week on our social media channels.
  5. Give, if you are able.

    • Every donation matters. Major matching challenges like this one require only a $5 donation to be made!

Thank you for your support of the College of Arts and Sciences this Wear Black, Give Back. Giving your time and energy to our cause means the world to us — and we appreciate every like, comment, gift, and good word that’s shared about the college that we call home.
