The Wellness Subdivision staff, programs, services, and facilities are recognized locally, regionally, and nationally as leaders in providing health services, counseling services, and recreational services.

The combination of these supports the emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of wellness.

A New Era of Wellness at UNO

The vision of the Wellness Subdivision is to be a catalyst in making UNO the healthiest campus in the country through collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and the Omaha community by providing desirable wellness programs and services. We will create and sustain a healthy campus culture that educates, motivates and empowers UNO students, faculty, and staff to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle behaviors. 

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation strives to enhance the quality of life for the UNO community through a world class facility, diverse programs, and outstanding customer service to help individuals reach their wellness goals.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center has licensed mental health practitioners dedicated to working with the UNO community to maximize their potential and meet the challenge of becoming whole, purposeful, thriving individuals.

Health Services

Health Services offers on-campus appointments with Board Certified Professionals. There is no charge for students to consult with the office staff, medical doctors, or nurse practitioners.
