Student Research and Creative Activity Fair

The Office of Research and Creative Activity is here to support all students at UNO! We encourage you to apply for internal funding, present at the Student Fair, and participate in RCA in your Maverick experience!

The RCAF is an opportunity for all students to present their research and creative activities. Projects do not need to be finalized to be eligible to present. Learn more about the Fair.

Internal Funding Opportunities

ORCA offers a variety of funding opportunities for students. Our FUSE, GRACA, and UCRCA programs are open on a rolling basis throughout the academic year.

  • FUSE awards up to $2500 to support faculty-mentored undergraduate student research and creative activity
  • GRACA awards up to $5000 to support faculty-mentored graduate student research and creative activity
  • STCF (formerly "Student UCRCA") awards up to $500 to support both undergraduate and graduate student presentations at meetings or conferences.

The Work Study Student Researcher and Research Development Programs are open for faculty to apply in the fall semester. Students should contact the faculty member they desire to work with to learn more.

View the Annual Internal Funding Bulletin to learn more about scholarly work being done at UNO by students and faculty. (Updated 8/27/24)
