NCITE Releases Year 2 Annual Report

November 15, 2022

In its first two years, NCITE kept a stable portfolio involving over 50 researchers from 19 universities in the U.S. and United Kingdom. Together, our consortium exposed over 500 students to the DHS mission and counterterrorism and targeted violence issues.

Meet the NCITE Students: Reflections on ENVISION22

The mood was surprisingly light as five NCITE students sat around a long, rectangular table in the Glass House – called this because of its many windows overlooking the UNO campus – stuffing black folders for the ENVISION22 conference beginning the next day.

ENVISION Student Poster Contest

At ENVISION22, NCITE hosted a student poster contest, sponsored by industry partner Splunk, in which students throughout the consortium were able to showcase their research endeavors.

ENVISION22 Wrap-Up: A long-awaited milestone

On Oct. 27 and 28, NCITE hosted its first in-person annual conference on UNO's Scott Campus. The event drew about 200 in-person and virtual guests from 13 states, Washington, D.C., and the United Kingdom.

NCITE Expands Into Maverick Landing
