Outstanding Innovation in Teaching with Technology Award
Each Spring, a UNO faculty member is recognized with the Outstanding Innovation in Teaching with Technology Award. Sponsored by ITS, the Outstanding Innovation in Teaching with Technology Award honors faculty who have implemented outstanding innovative teaching approaches shown to increase student learning, engagement and success. Innovative teaching is defined broadly and may include:
- The use of new instructional technologies, the use of traditional technologies in creative ways;
- The adoption of teaching strategies that scale through the use of technology;
- The adoption of tools or integrations that engage students in the learning process.
The award recognizes faculty members who have contributed significant, creative teaching innovations that promote effective and deeper learning.
