AI Learning Lab
The AI Learning Lab at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) provides exciting opportunities to leverage AI in teaching and learning, research, and campus operations.

Empowering the UNO Community with AI
The AI Learning Lab exists to support faculty and staff with the integration of AI on a higher-ed campus. The AI Learning Lab helps with the development of AI skills, the implementation of AI into courses, identification of operational efficiencies in administrative units, and guiding the ethical and appropriate use of AI throughout the UNO Community. This initiative consists of many elements and will help position UNO to become an AI-Powered campus.
Goals of the lab include:
- Upskill UNO faculty and staff with AI skills through PD courses and workshops
- Assist in the Infusion of AI into courses and learning experiences to help prepare students for the workforce
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiency in administrative units through specific AI-based pilots
- Amplify the ethical, responsible, and appropriate use of AI throughout the UNO community to support a broader culture of innovation on campus.
- Partner with local businesses, non-profits, and schools to provide AI training and guidance on ethical use of AI
