In order to serve the unique needs of our distinct communities and learners, each campus takes a slightly different approach to the utilization of its instance of NU Advance. Options and processes related to the use of UNO’s NU Advance instance are listed below.

NU Advance Pathways


Service Requirements
Creating a new publicly listed and promoted microcredential Course Developers must work with ILCI team to create a microcredential. Visit the Microcredentials page for more information on this process.
Publicly listing and promoting a pre-existing piece of noncredit on NU Advance (optional path for all noncredit offerings created AY 2022-23 and before) Course Design Review required (course must feature UNO branding).

Course fees (or alternative funding sources) must cover $10 per student enrollment fee.
Privately hosting a pre-existing piece of noncredit on NU Advance (optional path for all noncredit offerings created AY 2022-23 and before) Course fees (or alternative funding sources) must cover $10 per student enrollment fee.
Privately hosting a new piece of noncredit on NU Advance Course fees (or alternative funding sources) must cover $10 per student enrollment fee.
