In order to serve the unique needs of our distinct communities and learners, each campus takes a slightly different approach to the utilization of its instance of NU Advance. Options and processes related to the use of UNO’s NU Advance instance are listed below.
NU Advance Pathways

| Creating a new publicly listed and promoted microcredential | Course Developers must work with ILCI team to create a microcredential. Visit the Microcredentials page for more information on this process. |
| Publicly listing and promoting a pre-existing piece of noncredit on NU Advance (optional path for all noncredit offerings created AY 2022-23 and before) | Course Design Review required (course must feature UNO branding). Course fees (or alternative funding sources) must cover $10 per student enrollment fee. |
