Resources for Part-time Faculty

UNO values part-time faculty members and offers them numerous resources provided by many offices and units across the campus. The primary point of contact for part-time faculty is their department chair or school director. They can answer most questions, and the college dean’s office can also be helpful.

The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and Division of Innovative and Learning-Centric Initiatives offers an orientation for new and returning part-time faculty prior to the beginning of each fall and spring semester. Registration is available via the CFE calendar - type part-time in the search bar.

Part-time faculty are encouraged to view several short videos created to inform them about opportunities and resources available to them on campus.

Part-time faculty are encouraged to explore the content on the pages linked below to answer routine questions, learn more about opportunities at UNO, and access information and resources for themselves and their students.
