Megan Nelson

Biography

Megan Nelson is a proud UNO alumna who earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, including her MPA from the School of Public Administration. She has spent more than 10 years working at UNO and currently works part-time at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln while also managing her interior design business, Nest with the Nelsons, in Omaha.

Megan brings her experience in higher education, business ownership, and community engagement into the classroom, with a passion for helping students connect what they learn to the real world. She may have ventured beyond campus, but she’ll always be a Maverick at heart!
