Jaewon Oh

Alumni Update

Dr. Oh is a full-time faculty member in the School of Public Service at DePaul University, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in policy analysis, research methods, applied statistics, and quantitative public policy analysis. His research focuses on state and local public finance, particularly how fiscal institutions shape government behavior across levels of government. His current projects examine property taxation, state oversight of local fiscal distress, capital spending, and regional governance. His work has appeared in the Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management and Risk, Hazards & Crisis in Public Policy.
