If your goal is to land your dream job when you graduate, internships are a great way to get started. While you’re a student in the School of Public Administration, you will have the opportunity to gain real-world work experience and make valuable public and nonprofit sector contacts through an internship.
MPA Internship Opportunities
It is the student’s responsibility to find an internship; however, here are some possible options. The internship should be with a government or nonprofit organization. Once you have located a potential internship opportunity, students should contact Dr. Meagan Van Gelder to discuss the process of being a formally recognized intern by the School of Public Administration.
