Bio
Wendi currently serves as Assistant Director for Administrative Programs at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She has worked in higher education for over two decades: coordinating an archaeological dig in the Near East; serving as campus study abroad advisor; facilitating the proposal development process at an institutional level; creating opportunities for research and creative activity results to be disseminated to lay and academic audiences; working with campus and community partners involved in collaborative proposals for international training projects; and working directly with faculty to help them put together competitive proposals for extramural funding of their research. She continues to pursue her doctoral degree as a part-time student and full-time professional, mother, and spouse. Her research interests include telework among public employees, self-sacrifice during telework, and Public Service Motivation.
