Bio
Paola is a third-year doctoral student studying gender budgeting and women’s machinery in Mexico. Briones holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Organizational Science, as well as graduate certificates in Human Resources and Training, and Public Management.
Briones has worked with the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Office of Graduate Studies for almost a decade. As the Graduate Enrollment Manager, she assists applicants, students, faculty, and staff throughout the student lifecycle, from initial applications, to admissions, to thesis and dissertation workshops and graduation. During her time in Omaha, Briones has served the metro community through the Omaha Chamber of Commerce, UNO Staff Advisory Council, and Young Alumni Association. In her spare time, Briones enjoys running, reading, watching 90s shows, and spending time with her husband, Nolan, dog Malcom, and cats Benedict and Sylvia.
