Bio
Monica Lea is a doctoral candidate in the UNO School of Public Administration. As a life-long Florida resident, she received both her B.A in History and M.S. in Family, Youth and Community Sciences from the University of Florida. Currently, she serves as an instructor and research at UNO. Her dissertation explores digital stunt philanthropy, a phenomenon in which social media content creators develop partnerships with nonprofits organizations and private funders to make grand displays of philanthropic giving.Education
